Lo Join me for a 2-day full dive into stained glass on April 12 + 26 from 1p-5p! This workshop is great for beginners who want to learn the entire stained glass process from start to finish or for people who have taken my beginners mini workshop wanting to learn more.

In this class you will have 2 4-hour sessions of hands-on stained glass instruction! In these classes you will get to cut, grind, foil and solder your pieces together, finishing with a lead came border. Designs available to choose for this class are in the photo gallery. 

April 12th: 1p-5p

Choose your glass colors from an array of colors, textures and opacities. Learn to transfer your pattern to the glass, cut the shapes from the glass then use a grinder to smooth the edges of the glass pieces and fit them into the pattern provided. 

April 26th: 1p-5p

Learn to clean your shaped glass pieces, wrap each piece in copper foil and solder them together, wrap your piece in a lead came border and clean your finished piece.

If you have any glass color preferences, leave them in the notes section at checkout.  Be sure to be as specific as you can with your color description, I have a vast array of textures, colors and opacities to choose from and I will do my best to include your preferred colors! (Bright/vivid pinks are not available as a color option). If you are registering for multiple people please include the name of all participants in the Order Notes section at checkout. We will be handling broken glass, lead, chemicals and a hot soldering iron. Safety precautions for handling these items will be discussed in class. Disposable gloves will be provided and once we begin soldering must remain on for the duration of class. Please make sure to wear closed-toe shoes and bring readers/glasses if you normally use them for viewing close details. Safety glasses will be provided for those who do not wear glasses or you may bring your own! Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome as long as they have a lid.

Participants must be 18+ as this workshop involves working with heat, sharp tools and glass.

Classes are $250 per person. One booking is for one person and includes instruction to complete one stained glass piece. Once purchased, class fee is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person or date. No refunds or date transfers will be offered on cancellations less than 24 hours before the class starting time as I will not be able to re-fill the spot with such short notice.

All tools and materials will be provided for this class.  No experience is necessary.
